Super 8 By Wyndham Kansas City Hotel, Kansas City

The hotel is conveniently located right across the street from Worlds Of Fun, making it a great spot for our activities. The rooms were a bit disappointing with mud on the floor and a broken bathroom door, but the staff's hospitality was exceptional. The dining options were lacking variety and fell short of expectations. However, the free HBO was a nice touch for entertainment.

My stay at the hotel was a mix of good and not-so-good experiences. The location was great, close to Worlds of Fun and with friendly counter personnel, making me feel welcomed. However, the rooms had issues like a horrible smell, mold in the bathroom walls, and mud on the floor. The service was a bit of a hit and miss, with some staff members going above and beyond while others needed improvement. The dining left much to be desired, but the hotel facilities were decent.

Even though the rooms were not worth $100 a night and lacked breakfast and a pool, there was an indoor pool nearby with clean towels and sheets available. However, the rooms themselves were dirty, dusty, and had mold right above the bed. The location, although close to Worlds and Oceans of Fun, had worsened since the last stay, though the interior-only entry to rooms was convenient. The dining ended early on a Sunday but was good for what it offered. Overall, a mixed experience with some challenges to consider.
